Reason: He sang the song “Passenger” with Chino and that song made Deftones famous. By the way Chi’s voice is horrible.

i don’t even have a rude remark to this. love maynard and chino, but you should probably do your research before you so boldly state something like this.
WAIT WHAT? Adrenaline came out in like 1995, an album that eventually went platinum. Passenger didn’t come out until their THIRD album in 2000. It is important when making bold statements such as “Maynard James Keenan made Deftones” to add an “I think” or an “In my opinion” to the beginning because it really makes you sound like an uninformed prick. If you don’t like Deftones, great, that’s fine, you’re entitled to dislike whichever band you so please but, educate yourself before you start dishing out opinions shaped to sound like facts.
